Major sets of information that form the basis for program review:
- Department Planning Indicators – These department level data have been annually collected and distributed by the Office of Planning & Institutional Research. This report contains a comprehensive set of information about the department, especially enrollment data, and faculty resources.
- Program Review Measures – Quantitative items on an array of program characteristics facilitate measurement and performance comparisons with previous years and established goals (i.e., three year trends for headcount enrollments, contract and grant funding, degrees granted, and retention). Programs in the development of their Self-Study document should incorporate these into their text. The table titled "Program Measures, Outcomes and Data Sources" lists these items.
- Unit Learning Outcomes – Matrices/student learning outcomes are completed annually by the Department. For more information refer to Institutional Assessment.
- Academic Learning Compacts – The Florida Board of Governors has mandated that the public universities in Florida develop an Academic Learning Compact for each baccalaureate degree program that they offer.
