Charlie Sothers

Bio

Charlie Sothers is the Artistic Director of The Roxy Theatre Group at Westchester Cultural Arts Center in Tropical Park. He's been a professional actor for over 20 years, beginning first in children's theater at the Miami Book Fair, then many years on tour across the U.S. Selected acting credits include [title of show], Rock of Ages, Shakespearean school tours, and the devised theatre projects, Miami Motel Stories and the Amparo Experience. He received improv training at Workshop of the Second City in Chicago and frequently does voice-over work. He's a produced playwright with his most recent play, Not Ready for Prime Time, having debuted in Miami and being workshopped in New York. He currently teaches musical theatre and improv to children for the nonprofit, Roxy Theatre Group, which he co-founded in 2002.
