The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) team offers workshops, trainings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities throughout the year. Our team brings expertise across several key areas, including student learning outcomes assessment, program review, accreditation support, data collection and analysis, survey design, and continuous improvement planning.
Events are designed to be practical and applicable, helping faculty and staff strengthen their assessment practices. For example, past sessions have included developing measurable learning outcomes, interpreting assessment data for decision-making, and preparing for accreditation reporting requirements.

The IE team partners with colleges, departments, programs, and administrative units to provide targeted support tailored to specific needs. Because our expertise spans multiple areas of assessment and institutional effectiveness, we can individualize workshops to match your goals, experience level, and context.
Examples of customized support include:
Student Learning Outcomes Assessment: Designing or refining outcomes, aligning them with curriculum, and developing rubrics for evaluation.
Program Assessment & Review: Building or improving program assessment plans, analyzing results, and using findings for continuous improvement.
Accreditation Support: Interpreting standards, organizing evidence, and preparing narratives for institutional or specialized accreditation.
Survey Design & Data Collection: Creating effective surveys, improving response rates, and ensuring meaningful data for decision-making.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Helping teams interpret assessment results and translate data into actionable improvements.
Support may include a one-time consultation, a series of working sessions, or a fully customized workshop for your faculty or staff.
